Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary Decade 2 70cl 43.7% abv

Released to celebrate the 60th anniversary of James Bond in cinema, this exceptional single malt whisky has been created by The Macallan Master Whisky Maker, Kirsteen Campbell, to reflect the character of James Bond. A robust force of nature defined by his Scottish heritage, Bond shares many a quality with The Macallan.

'Decade Two', out of six in the collection, has a design honouring Roger Moore's incarnation of Bond, with sketches and storyboards from The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Stromborg’s Atlantis marine research lab, and various space station concepts from Moonraker (1979) adorning the bottle and packaging. Bottled at 43.7% abv.

Expect aromas of zesty lemons and limes, with sherbet, vanilla, coconut and dried fruits. The palate is full of orange sherbet, oak, and a hint of ginger spice before evolving with flavours of dark chocolate, apple pie and honey drizzle. The finish is sweet and long, with complex layers.
